Located west of the longest limestone ridges stretching from the north of Tournus to Fuissé in the south, the vineyard of Milly-Lamartine occupies the last western slopes of the Mâconnais vineyard.
Soil Marl-limestone soils with clay
Grape variety 100 % Chardonnay.
Vinification Alcoholic fermentation and aging on fine lees, 80% in stainless steel tanks and 20% in oak barrels for 8 to 9 months.
Nose Fresh and delicate bouquet with aromas of flint and menthol mingled with notes of peach and apricot.
Palate In the mouth, its fullness and aromatic complexity are balanced by a beautiful freshness characteristic of this ``high-altitude`` terroir.
Serve with Classic pairing: Soft cheeses. Unusual pairing: Salmon and mango sushi.
Serve at Service temperature: between 12-13°C.
Cellaring potential To be enjoyed in its youth or within 3 years to preserve the pleasure of the fruit.
