In this small village of 210 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, some of the most renowned red wines of Burgundy are produced, such as Romanée-Conti or Richebourg.
Soil Limestone soils and clayey marls.
Grape variety 100 % Pinot Noir.
Vinification Manual harvesting, sorting of grapes upon arrival at the winery. Fermentative maceration in thermoregulated wooden vats for 18 to 21 days. Aging in oak barrels (35% new barrels) for 14 to 16 months.
Nose Elegant bouquet with scents of red fruits (sour cherry, raspberry...) mixed with light roasted and smoky notes evolving over time into a truffle aroma.
Palate On the palate, the attack is velvety, the flesh rich, the tannins present but silky. Long, very aromatic finish.
Serve with Classic pairing: Lamb with herb crust. Unconventional pairing: Duck with cherries.
Serve at Service temperature: between 15-16°C.
Cellaring potential Aging: 5 to 7 years and more.
