Since the 2005 decree, the name Mâcon followed by Lugny designates white, red, and rosé wines from the delimited area within the villages of Bissy-la-Mâconnaise, Lugny, Saint-Gengoux-de-Scissé, and, in part, Cruzille.
Soil Complementarity between hillsides and plateaus
Grape variety 100 % Chardonnay.
Vinification Aging on fine lees 80% in tanks and 20% in oak barrels for 8 to 9 months.
Robe Pale dress with green reflections.
Nose Expressive nose with floral notes and citrus notes.
Palate Soft on the palate, with aromas reminiscent of candied or exotic fruits.
Serve with Classic pairing: Pasta with green pesto. Unconventional pairing: Roasted cauliflower tacos.
Serve at Serving temperature: between 11-13°C.
Cellaring potential Enjoy young and fruity or keep for 2 to 3 years.
